Urban Rest Port Adelaide Apartments

Loved it. Comfortable and relaxing

Climbing the stairs to the top level. Weekend was heatwave and my children were playing in a basketball carnival all weekend. Would have been better to select a level if I knew it was gonna be stairs involved

Although the property was well presented and comfortable inside, the external surroundings were poor with the street front not being finished off - ie no proper footpath and building debris not properly cleaned up. Furthermore although there was supposed to be a parking dedicated to the property we could not access it as someone had parked a trailer in the designated parking space. When we tried to get assistance regarding the parking neither the provided phone or email contacts for Expedia through whom we booked the property, were working and we could not raise any response. This is unacceptable and we will never use Expedia again. Unfortunately this lack of service from Expedia left us with a less favourable view of the property. The property is well located near several restaurants but is a considerable distance from the CBD and so a car is very useful if staying here.

Small but had many things we needed.

It was unclean from the previous guests upon our arrival. We were told to wait over three hours for a cleaner to arrive. Then the house stunk so bad with chemicals, we couldn’t even sleep in the property

Clean Good views Call and email support were very prompt and helpful when needed due to issues outlined in cons.

No reception - essentially an Airbnb Got locked out due to inside locked door and had to call a lock Smith for an additional 220 fee as not staffed and no alternate way to help. Meant to include private parking but someone else parked in our spot for 1 day of our 3 day trip.

On Level 3 without a lift

Clean, tidy, and comprehensive! This is the first time I have ever had accommodation smell freshly cleaned, it was lovely. The apartment was kitted out with appliances, amenities, nice furniture, a good stock of tea and coffee, nice soaps and detergents and basically a complete home. You could walk in with clothes and have e erything you need.

The coffee pods don't appear to fit the machine, we did try our best but couldn't get them to fit and the fly screen door to the balcony struggles to close fully and to latch. Both first world problems.

Location was great as our office is located at Adelade Business hub

The stairs - particularly when you are travelling with 20Kg bags this would be a major safety issue for the elderly and medically impaired
