Our room was a good size and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and served a delicious breakfast in the morning. The location is very good for walking the Camino.

Zimmer sehr hellhörig, Frühstück ohne warme Speisen, sehr langer Weg vom Parkplatz zur Unterkunft, was für mich vorher nicht erkennbar war, Frühstücksbereich eher unpersönlich und offen gestaltet, Lüftung der Klimaanlage machte Geräusche, so dass diese nachts ausgeschaltet werden musste

Out of a 5 night trip with a night in a different hotel each time, this one was heads and shoulders above the others in terms of expense - it was double the cost of 2 of them! As a result I probably had high expectations, and the truth was, the other, less expensive hotels we stayed in, had more to offer than this one. First of all it is not a hotel, well not what I would describe as a hotel. There is no bar, restuarant, reception apart from check in and out. Breakfast is in the foyer, and my absolute biggest bug bear - with this place you have to check in online, off site ( as in booking.com) before you arrive. Apparently this is common practice in Spain ( though it was the only place that requested it on this trip) I like to check in at reception when I am at reception, even the airlines do not ask me to forward them a copy of my passport! Had I known when booking either I would not have booked or at least been prepared. I really baulk at the idea, and was tired after a long hike, and pretty unimpressed with it all. My not having any knowledge of the requirement slowed the whole check in process down. I think the draw with this 'hotel' is it is the only one in Pasajes, we walked through lexo if I were going to the area again I would stay in lexo, and eat there. We went out for dinner at 6 but of course everything was closed, no hotel restuarant no shops, ended up taking the water taxi over the water but no luck, just people drinking
