"Blood stained carpet!"

2.0

I picked this place based on reviews saying it was clean, they said they 'take pride in being the cleanest' Room 102 REEKED of cigarettes, blood splatter on carpet and on wall in bathroom. Seriously the most disgusting room I have EVER stayed in! I would not walk without my flip flops on! Shower door covered in soap scum and had mold on bottom. I highly recommend skipping this place!

"Diamond in the rough"

10.0

My work requires that I travel a lot and I may be in an area from anywhere from 3 days to 3 months. Additionally my work also requires a decent internet connection as most of my work is done online. I usually stay in hotels such as the comfort inn, but I recently found myself in the position being in the Redding area for at least 4 weeks. We decided to stay in Red Bluff initially at the Comfort Inn but there wifi was so slow i was barely able to answer my email. So the search went on for a place with weekly rates. I went to trip adviser to make an informed decision and the prospects initially were frightening I.E, the American Inn very very bad place. So I narrowed my decision down to the Crystal Motel and the Sky Terrace. So roughly around 9:30pm PST i called sky terrace to get a little bit of info and possibly get a reservation. I was treated so badly I almost hung up the phone before the conversation the lady obviously didn't want to talk so i wondered why she answered the phone on top of that wouldn't give me any room rates or info and told me to call back in the morning (yeah right). Next I called the Crystal Motel keep in mind that it about 10pm by this time... I talked to the manager and she was very personable over the phone gave me the daily, weekly, and monthly rates over the phone and assured me they had fast wifi. She even reserved the room for me even though I indicated I merely wanted to look at the room as my girlfriend is very very picky. The motel itself is dated but very clean the staff is very very accommodating we have been here 3 weeks now. The rates are the best your going to get in town. The property is very safe and the managers personally make sure the property is kept secure and actively filter out the riff raff. The wifi is the fastest internet connection I have used at a hotel or motel within 450 miles I regularly getting speeds of 20Mbs and on the low end 7Mbs so I finally got to use my Netflix again. I will definitely be staying here as long as I can and if in the area will stay here again . Now your not going to get a big flat screen tv or anything like that but you will get a great range of cable channels, a comfortable clean bed, clean room, nice kitchen area with all new appliances, the lowest rates in town, and treated well by management and staff! Not to mention the fastest internet connection hands down. I would recommend the Crystal Motel to any traveler or person needing a short-term living situation

"Best inexpensive room in Red Bluff"

8.0

I'm all about price -- When I travel for work, I am generally alone and pick the cheapest place that meets my standards (admitedly a bit low). While there might be one or two other places with prices about the same or a few bucks cheaper, they are scarey (and I don't scare easily). This is always the place I stop when travelling through the area. I believe there are microwaves and refridgerators in every room. Some have full kitchens including stoves as well.

"Crystal Motel Red Bluff - clean, inexpensive"

8.0

I needed an inexpensive hotel for my trip from LA to Seattle. Crystal Motel was clean and everything was AOK. There is nothing special about this hotel, and certainly nothing 5 stars, but it fit the bill. The room was about 50 bucks but found a coupon on their website for a few bucks off. I'd stay here again - the lady at the front desk was nice and the place was clean.

The rates were very reasonable and the desk staff was friendly and informative. Found the place by accident but will definitely be back.

"Crystal Inn"

6.0

The room was $50 and was a typical motel room with the added benefit of a stove and a refrigerator. It was clean though a bit run-down and the shower had some mold which triggered our allergies. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a fine value for $50.
