Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them. On the hole, everything else was excellent. There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above standard, and extremely comfortable.

Well managed and maintained property ,this was my 2nd visit.....very Excellent place to just chill out and relax,and explore the local area.

Self catering cottage, location is rural but easy to find and lovely views and parking at the property. Cottage was very warm, well appointed and comfortable.

Could do with a larger shower head. Towels and bedding smelt bad so change the washing products used.

The owner of the property, Katie, was very friendly and introduced us to her pony Jack and sheep Gary. She showed us some nearby trails to walk if we fancied exploring, which we certainly did. Beautiful area and lovely spaces for country walks. There was a small delay when we arrived and the place wasn't quite ready, however this was no issue to us as the owner was very apologetic and entertained us in the meantime. Her partner also brought us a lovely bottle of wine as an apology. So, nothing affected our trip negatively.

There was nothing really we didn't like. It was a really lovely, friendly experience overall.

The cottage is beautiful inside and out. The decor which incorporates fresh new plaster with the original timbers and stone work is just perfect. The facilities are all fantastic with everything you need for a comfortable stay Bed is ultra comfortable. I never sleep amazingly when on a business trip but last night was exceptional! Everything has been really well thought out, plug sockets have been installed next to the couch, WiFi works well and the smart TV with on demand services available was fab. Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom was a nice addition too. Who doesn't love a showeroke session! Easy to find, great parking, quiet location, warm, meticulously clean & comfortable. Thank you for a great stay. I'll look forward to coming back soon!
