Farthing Cottage

Great for a couple of nights. Clean and quiet

Kitchen had few utensils, so was ok for a couple of nights, but a longer stay would have been restricted. The lack of WiFi again was ok for a couple of nights, but the lack of towels on short stay meant travelling with wet towels

Quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. Highly recommended. Loved the Italian restaurant in Lanchester.

Cottage was immaculate. All renovated to a very high standard.

Location was in the country. Beautifully furnished and lovely quirky building, tastefully renovated.

There were no towels provided that would be expected in a lovely property like this, especially for overseas travellers, and nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Also no tea, coffee or milk provided that would help when arriving late.

It was old worldly.comfirtable Clean tidy.

There was no towels, It would have nice if there was starter pack. I E,maybe pint milk coffee tea. Or in information whilst booking a payment off£7for milk tea coffee, would be good.even bring own towels ,starter pack as no shops near.

Upon arrival the host (s) were there to welcome us with a drink and to join in with their street party - it was the Queens Jubilee weekend! The cottage itself was perfect and immaculate. The bed was also extremely comfortable, it was the best nights’ sleep we have both had in ages. Off street parking on the drive was useful and plenty of space to move around in the cottage. It was a fantastic stay overall, and would definitely return again if we were up that “neck of the woods” Thanks again for your great hospitality Kate and Baines.
