Staycations Maldon Suites

The apartment advertises itself as "individual" and it didn't disappoint. From the four-poster bed to the feature copper bathtub in the centre of the main room, everything about the apartment was stylish and inventive. Crockery and utensils were of the highest quality, and the room was impeccably clean.

The location on the High Street doesn't provide great views but the wonderful waterfront is only a short walk away. Parking is in a municipal car park at the back of the building, which is not ideal if you have multiple bags to bring in.

The D’Arcy suite was perfect, the decor was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the whole apartment was immaculate. It really is special and so much more than we expected, it felt above and beyond anywhere else you could stay for the rates. We had an amazing time, we didn’t want to leave! The location was perfect as Maldon is a lovely town with loads of great places to eat and drink. Communication from the Staycation team was great, so helpful and felt like they cared that you have a great time which you can tell by the quality of the suite. Would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you so much!!

Beautifully presented, stylish property and very comfortable. Nicely situated on the High Street for all local pubs and restaurants. Check in and checkout were super easy. Hughly recommended for a stay in Maldon.

Lovely decorated apartment. Clean with good facilities.

Curtains didn’t fit well so let light in early morning and the church bells are pretty loud. Possibly look at secondary glazing to reduce noise.

The accommodation was beautiful, very clean and full of character, which I liked. There was plenty of space, a sitting room, bathroom and a bedroom with a four poster bed. Everything was done to a high standard. Shannon, who I needed to liaise with was very nice, friendly and helpful. The location on the High Street was excellent, near the Moot Hall, bus stops and so perfect for accessing everything Maldon has to offer. It was around a 15 minute walk to Hythe Quay where the heritage barge trips go from.

The only downside to this property were the noise levels outside. In fairness there is a narrative about this on the booking.com website, especially about the bar/cafe opposite. There is a fair amount of traffic noise from the High Street immediately outside, and a loud clock chiming. The noise was worst on Saturday night; it wasn't so bad on Sunday night.

Rooms and facilities were stunning, location was perfectly situated in the heart of Maldon.
