Friendly staff, and newly renovated rooms for a fair price. Can’t go wrong.
Room was nicely updated but no mirror outside of bathroom. Only one chair in room and no luggage rack so had to use that for luggage. First night someone decided to power wash his truck below the window from 8 pm for 45 minutes. Spots in hallway floor were never cleaned up after stay of two days. Bathroom tissue holder was too far away and behind door. Awkward.
We loved the new upgrades and the clean renovated rooms. The service was excellent and catered to our needs. Very friendly.
This is a comfortable property conveniently located near restaurants, fuel, and there are some nice shops nearby. The Fair rating is misleading as it is lower than the dumpy North Star in Prince George that I had numerous items stolen from the hundreds of drugged out thieves roaming the area and no one watching the almost useless security cameras.
Decent hotel, convenient location. Nothing in particular stood out besides that the temperature of the water when I tried to take a shower was cold. Even after I ran the water for 3-4min it only changed to luke warm for 2-3min and then went back to cold. Aesthetics of the place reminded me of the mid 80’s, however maybe they are going for that decor and look. Staff were friendly, check in and out was quick.
There was blood on my sheets. The air conditioner blew hot air. They didnt have hot water the entirety of my stay. The room was in disrepair. The shower head had years of filth built up on it. The toilet hadnt been cleaned in forever. The blinds didnt cover the entire window. They made me pay up front for my entire stay and then when i left 3 days early they wouldn't refund me my money because they didnt want to have to pay your commission. So i am out 360 dollars. I called your company and it was escalated. I was supposed to recieve a new hotel room at a different location and to get my money back from the lakewood inn. I got disconnected from the person 3 times because of their bad service. I had full bars of 5g service. Nothing has been done to help remedy my situation. I will likely share this experience and the photos in reviews on google and on social media. It has been an all around horrible experience and i am extremely dissapointed in the lakewood inn and expedia.
Room smelled musty. Floor had something on it. Beds were uncomfortable. Bathtub bottom is worn and dirty. Fridge not plugged in. Stayed because it was pet friendly, charged an extra $20.00 for my small dog to stay in that room. On site pub and restaurant closed, liquor store only carried small assortment of beer. Apparently trying to reopen pub.
Affordable and convenient location. Info about dining/ amenities was not accurate. Clean enough but bring your own pillows.
