Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers

The hotel was beautiful and the room was spacious and lovely. The lobby had interesting artwork. The breakfast room, on the 36th floor, was wonderful, with a spectacular view, and various stations with so many food options. However, the service was terrible. When I took a shower, the water poured out under the glass door all over the floor. I had to use the mat to wipe up all the water. The next morning I reported it at the front desk, and asked for more bathmats. I also reported that a light in the ceiling was burned out. They said they would look into the shower and fix the light. When we got back that evening, nothing had been done. I called reception. They said they would follow up with maintenance and housekeeping, but that they were both "very busy." No one came. I didn’t mention it the next morning. But when we got back to the hotel that evening, not only had nothing been done, but now we had no towels! No bath towels, no bathmats, no facecloths, and only 1 hand towel. It was obvious that housekeeping had come, yet the sink wasn’t cleaned (it was black and showed every mark). The wastebasket lid had been removed and was left sitting on the floor, and there was no bag in the wastebasket. On the last morning during that stay we requested a 6:45am wake-up call. They didn't call until 7am. We came back to Tbilisi later during the trip and stayed again at this hotel (we had no choice – it was an organized tour). Since the room we had the first time around had 2 single beds, I specifically asked this time for a “big bed.” The girl at the from desk said "big bed?" and I said yes. However, when we went upstairs, we found a room with 2 single beds. I went downstairs to have the room changed. When we returned to the hotel the following evening, we found that the cleaner had taken away one of the 2 hand towels without replacing it and also the only facecloth we had. I initially loved the hotel and would have given it 6 stars out of 5, but because of the poor service, they don’t deserve more than 2 stars. Customer service is everything, but they just don’t get it!

1. Приехали в 13:00, но попросили подождать до 15:00, это ок, но в итоге номер был готов только в 15:30 2. Сауны оказались неработающими, информации об этом нет 3. Просили приборы (cutlery) так и не принесли 4. Просили зубные щетки, более часа несли с нескольких звонков.

Spa was closed, mostly picked this hotel for the spa…

The gym next door that you get access to is great, the rooms are comfortable with good cleaning service, water etc and nice bathroom. The restaurant that’s also part of complex adjacent is great.

I feel for a hotel like Pullman, saying it is five star etc there’s a few missing bits. It doesn’t feel a high end 5 star, Fo example No mini bar, service at reception is hit and miss depending on who you get, sometimes I standing for ages waiting for reception to serve me, there is no visible concierge and before i arrived I tried setting up tours with a virtual concierge which was a failure, not great response etc and considering Georgia such a place for tours I really expected hotel to Help.
