Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro

Perfect location for this area. The river walk was so nice and easy to get to (once we were there a day we figured out to turn left and then right to easily get to the river walk).

The inside was very nice and well equipped from the rooms to the common areas

Our room was right on the street and quite noisy especially in the morning

Very comfortable stay. This guest house would be ideal for a group, with four rooms each ensuite, and a shared common space including a large kitchen. The hosts arranged a wine tour for us at a local winery. The accommodation was impeccably clean. The parking onsite in an enclosed garage was convenient.

Great room and bathroom with high quality materials and fantastic kitchen and sitting room. Nice to have a garage for safe parking as well. Nice little details such as a sample of port wine and bottles of water and juice in the fridge.

The road is a bit noisy, had to sleep with windows closed, nevertheless it is still a perfect place to be.

Marco and Joana were extremely helpful and efficient. Although we never actually met them in person, we could feel that they were genuine in their desire to make our stay the best it could be

A well equipped and clean appartman(house), good base for visiting the valley of Douro, Our hosts (Joana and Marco) made a great job, the way they communicating (friendly, polite and quickly) with us impressed me. The winery (what they recommended to visit), the evening we spent there turned out one of the brightest moment of our one week tour in Portugal. Thanks Joana, thanks Marco!

Great patio. Nice room. Secure parking. Complimentary breakfast at the cafe was very good. Free bottled water and welcome port were appreciated.

A bit far from the centre of town. Just be prepared to walk for 10 minutes to the riverfront.
