Yosemite Basecamp

Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement en pleine nature, la terrasse au soleil, et le fait de pouvoir prendre des repas à 6 à table.

L’organisation de la chambre ne permettait pas d avoir vraiment 4 lits simples, on ne pouvait pas tirer totalement les lits tiroirs. Les photos montraient un lit superposé et un lit tiroir, or il y avait deux lits tiroirs… Le chauffage était assez bruyant.

The property was very comfortable and homey and it was wonderful to have a full kitchen and a barbecue for our use. The hiker’s breakfast was also delicious.

The bunkbeds are definitely not something that adults can sleep on top of, however, since there were only four of us two adults slept on each bottom bunk, and then two of us slept in the queen bed. The bunkbeds on top were just very flimsy construction. Overall, the kitchen was fairly well stocked, but not completely. A new small frying pan would help. There is also no dish strainer.

I booked the bunkhouse and it was awesome, enough bed space for family and there was free light hiker’s breakfast. There was a fridge, microwave and flatware and a grill outside but did not use that one. Love the toilet n shower style and the overall feel of the room.

The bottom beds of the bunk made a very loud squeaky noise that can actually wake people up. Not a deal breaker but hoping they can address this. Otherwise will be happy to come back.

Nice light breakfast, we love organic items. Room was nice for our family.

Dog/pet smell from the room/couch seating.

It’s super spacious and comfortable. Nice authentic feel to it. Breakfast is good. Bath is great. WiFi was pretty good considering we were there in mega snow storm. Staff are nice.

It’s a shame the cooking facilities are a bit limited. There is a gas BBQ / Grill outside one can use but it was mega snow when we were there / a bit wet. So we dined out most nights.
