The Yellow Nest

Our stay here at this property was amazing! The service was outstanding and the staff were all so friendly, helpful and very professional. The food and the drinks that we enjoyed here were all so delicious and presented very well. We absolutely loved our floating breakfast! That and the meditation ceremony were our favorite! We were able to unplug and recharge here in our jungle villa. Biking to the local Cenotes were so much fun! This stay was fun, safe, and definitely an experience to be had!! Highlight of our trip!

We loved the Yellow Nest! The grounds are so beautiful and isolated. You really are "in the middle of the jungle". This makes for a bit of a rough ride for the last few miles, but it is totally worth it. They are near to several amazing cenotes. Our "nest" was comfortable and clean (no air conditioning in the nests, which was fine in February, but maybe not in hotter months. Villas have air conditioning). The staff was incredible! Helped us out with all sorts of recommendations. The included breakfast was very nice. The dinners were fantastic! The temazcal experience with Miguel is a must do! We would definitely go back and very much hope to be able to. The Yellow Nest is a longish drive from the high end restaurants, beach clubs, and night life of Tulum Beach, which was 100% fine by us, but if that is the vibe you are looking for, this is not the spot for you.

Our stay at The Yellow Nest was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the warm and professional staff. Samuel, Luis Miguel, Sebastian, Jorge, Arturo, and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home in this jungle oasis. The food—where do I even begin? Luigi and the talented cook staff create absolute masterpieces! From the complimentary breakfast to the paid meals, every bite was bursting with flavor. Whether it was a beautifully plated gourmet dish or a simple yet delicious homemade meal, we were always left in awe. You can truly taste the love and skill that goes into every plate. We stayed in Luxe Villa #6, and it was breathtaking! The villa was beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the lush jungle surroundings. Waking up to the sounds of nature and stepping out to those stunning jungle views was an experience we’ll never forget. It’s the perfect place to unwind, disconnect, and be one with nature. One thing to note—the ride in is quite bumpy, so be prepared for an adventure on the way! But trust me, once you arrive, you’ll realize it’s all part of the journey to this hidden paradise. If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in nature while being treated like family, The Yellow Nest is the perfect destination. We cannot wait to return—thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special!

I loved absolutely everything, every single detail in the property. The yellow nest has exceeded my expectations and this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. First of all I booked the wrong date via third party website, the rate was non-refundable and non-changeable but they guys at the Yellow Nest were able to help me and move the date without loosing my money, I was so thankful for that 🙏. Not every hotel will do that. Also, this place is so personal, so unique and you just feel love overthere. All the people who work there are amazing, with great heart and I felt like at home overthere with my family. Jorge, Yoshi, Samuel, Arturo, Gabi , Ernesto, Gilberto, Luis Miguel, Sebastian were so helpful and always so attentive. I didn’t remember all the names 😀 but everyone was great and amazing. The food was so delicious, they were able to meet all my dietary requirements. Tamazcal - unforgettable experience!! I would recommend this place to everyone who would like to have magical and warm experience. And it’s not just another hotel or accommodation, this place is a home nest. Thank you so much guys once again 🙏

Staff was coopeative, always willing to help you and give you tips. The last kilometer of the road to get to the hotel is in very bad conditions.

Loved our short stay at Yellow Next. From the second we arrived, everyone was so helpful and smiling. We stayed I. The villas and they were so clean and spacious. Loved feeling like I was in an exotic (but luxurious) jungle retreat. Loved the welcome cocktail and all the fun drinks. Breakfast and dinner was included. We had the floating breakfast for my husbands birthday. A little chilly but so worth it. All meals were excellent. Way more upscale than I expected and still had a Mexican feel. Sammy and Miguel were excellent and suggested great tour (Sac Actun). Finally I did yoga both days. Gabby was wonderful. So peaceful and she was a great instructor. One of the best parts for me. Pools and seating areas were all beautiful. Great stay and highly recommend.

This place is a nice stay if you want to visit for the day or at most one night. When we first arrived, we were greeted with a drink and a small tour of the place. I had reserved a private dinner for my boyfriend’s birthday, they never followed up on it. When I did ask, their excuse was that we were never in our room. Absolutely ridiculous. Our pool was very dirty upon arrival, leaves everywhere and a ton of mosquitoes and bees inside. We tried to ignore the little things, however, as our trip progressed our power kept going out, our water was out for an hour and no warm water till the next day. On an attempt to go out to the city when we returned and asked for a pick up from the road, we were immediately told that we were coming back to our room to late, keep in mind this was only 11pm. We were thrilled to explore this place but sadly we will not be returning.
