Absolutely loved this stay. Loved the modern yet quaint style, the privacy, and the hospitality of the host. There are nice little touches that make the stay feel extra special. AMAZING view of the stars if you're lucky with a clear night. A 10/10 romantic getaway.

"Beautiful, Stylish and Peaceful Accommodation"

Perfect, quiet accommodation with a beautiful natural view. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was stylish, modern and very clean. We really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere — it made the stay very relaxing. Honestly, everything was fantastic!

If there is one small thing to mention, it’s that reaching the house with large, heavy suitcases was a bit difficult, but that was really the only minor inconvenience.

Five star accommodation.

Really didn’t like the distance you have to carry cases if you stay in the Kouka lodge, choose one of the others if you have travelling cases like we did!

"Gorgeous private cabins with night sky views"

Stunning architectural cabin with outside bath. Viewing the night sky through the roof blinds was amazing. Loved the thick fluffy robes and quality of the linens/towels. Good aircon. The free drinks and snacks are a nice touch. There is a microwave/dishwasher/toaster but NO STOVE. This is clearly stated in the amenities so I don’t know why there can be negative reviews about lack of cooking options. NOTE : the cabin KOUKA is 60m from the car parking & you cannot wheel a suitcase along the path. We loved the extra privacy but if you want your car close request another one of the 4 cabins.

There is a silly quirk that the black out blinds do t cover the top part of the windows .. meaning it’s vv light early in the morning. Ditch the free slippers and provide free eye shades instead !

Wunderbare Lage

Die Koffer so weit zu schleppen, ist eine Zumutung auf einem Steinweg! Es heisst Küche, war aber keine Herdplatte vorhanden, nicht mal ein Grill!! Auf Anfrage hiess es einfach, nicht vorhanden. Wir hatten extra alles eingekauft um zu kochen, leider wurde nichts daraus.

Our family group enjoyed a night in separate rooms, close enough to meet up easily but with lots of privacy. The units were impeccably clean. Wish we could have stayed more than one drizzly night. The outdoor bath/spa was a highlight. Easy drive to town.

We arrived on a drizzly early evening, and the sign for the facility was difficult to see and very easy to pass up.
