São Bento Deluxe 42 with Balcony

Keep in mind this is a 200 year old building. That comes with being a bit dated, electricity and faucets being a bit finicky, and no elevator to this apartment up three floors. That said, amazing central location, very spacious, fully stocked kitchen, and multiple bedrooms at a very reasonable price.

Un énorme problème avec la clé. Impossible d’ouvrir la porte d’entrée. Même le propriétaire avait de la peine à l’ouvrir..

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a fantastic, central location. Our host Edgar was extremely helpful and communicative.

Mirrors in the bedrooms and some extra loo roll would have been appreciated.

Lage perfekt

It was in a central location, walkable to river and nearby attractions. Clean and bright.

It was a little busy for our taste, given it is across from the train station and there is congestion due to construction.

The location was absolutely fantastic. Couldn’t beat being right in the heart of the old town in walking distance to attractions and restaurants.

The layout doesn’t work. Three bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom, and then one bathroom downstairs next to the kitchen. If you’re a group and sharing bathrooms, it’s very inconvenient to have to go downstairs to shower/use the bathroom. While the host was responsive, it felt like they were penny pinching. We asked for an extra set of towels which they wanted to charge us extra for. They also only provided us with 2 rolls of very bad quality toilet paper for our entire stay. We were a group of 4 and had to go out and buy more. For the amount we paid for the accommodation, things like this are absolutely unacceptable in my opinion. If it was a cheap stay, I would understand, but it was not. The neighbours partied almost every night. While the noise didn’t bother us, the smoke did. I think they smoke outside their door, which is next to the entrance door, so you can smell smoke in the living room. There is a lot of construction/noise outside, but there’s nothing to be done about that. We were aware of this before we booked.
