Close to the National Park; good bistro on site; walk to town.

Natalie and Pierre are first rate hosts. Their building, celebrating the region's canoe-building and canoeing heritage, is very comfortable. And breakfast is as good as it gets. Natalie, as the former Parks Canada superintendent for Maurice National Park, has a wealth of advice to offer on getting the most out of an underrated national park just a few kilometres down the road. In season, they have a pizza bistro, and the little town of Saint-Jean-des-Pils has some nice bars and good dining.

the room was great! space and ambience. The host amazing, nice and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious. we stayed only one night and I regret.

This is more of a gite than a classic bed and breakfast as the owners are not onsite.We chose this accommodation for two nights as we wanted to be close to Saint Jean des Pils entrance to Parc National Mauricie a few kilometres away and there was little else on offer. Firstly the owners were very welcoming and engaging as well as happy to assist you with area information. It is not a modern facility but it provides basic comfort for a short stay and a little overpriced for what is a two star accommodation but then you are probably paying for its location and lack of hotels in the area However complements must be given for an outstanding and healthy breakfast.

Although there is a wifi connection there is no mobile signal in the area and you need to travel to a high point to get any connection if you are lucky In darkness the accommodation has no lighting apart from a small red square neon light at front of building so you can easily miss it on the main street.This also applies to the sign of maison cadorette at the front of property

Very pleasant B&B near to the national park. It was a short pause on our journey and we enjoyed it . The hosts are very nice and helpful, recommended some places to visit . The bedroom size was ok with 2 kids , but less of a matter because of the lounge and outdoor spaces. The breakfast is amazing with fresh and local products!
