Bermuda Bungalow

The location of this home is ideal, and it was overall a safe location. No loud noises, etc. The two issues I experienced was the dryer was inoperable and the bath drain in the main room was blocked up. So it drained slow.

The location, amenities, and preparedness was great. The building was nicely set up, as well. The toilets and showers/ bath was clean. The amount of clean towels were great. The seating arrangement was very accommodating and comfortable. The patio furniture was cute and accommodating. The box fans were very appreciated. It was too hot outside for us to be motivated to barbecue, but the grill and picnic table were appreciated.

Many of the cable channels were unaccessible, so we had trouble watching family movies. The remotes had buttons as though we could sign into streaming apps, but when those buttons were pushed, the tv turned off. The beds were arranged nicely and the bedding was good. However, the top bunk was inaccessible due to the ladder not being properly connected. The ladder nearly fell on me when my son attempted to simply test the bottom bunk’s comfort. We slid the ladder under the bunk beds out of concern for safety. The bottom bunk mattress was very thin and uncomfortable, the king bed was too hard and very uncomfortable. I considered buying a mattress topper for each of the beds, but I felt like those should already be in place and that the guest should not have to go to that extent just to get a comfortable sleep. There were some questionable, dirty stains on the wall beside the toilet. I cleaned it myself out of concern for my family. There were random pieces of trash in the yard that were not from us. It would have been nice if the yard space was clean before our arrival. The yard maintenance people arrived and mowed the lawn, but didn’t pick up and throw away the preexisting pieces of trash.

It was close to the beach so we could walk.

The beds were terrible, the worse I’ve ever slept in.
