Alaska Frontier Inn

The rooms were great & clean - beds comfy. I liked the use of modern technology for reservations and check-in.

Such a nice, clean and convenient stop along our route. It’s the third time we’ve stayed here, over the last three years, and the quality has been consistently high.

Free laundry. The triangle splash guard at the bathtub. There were phone number and email to contact the owner when necessary.

I would recommend a posted sign at the laundry to allow 5-10 minutes for the previous customer to empty the washer. I was a couple of minutes late. When I arrived, the next guy was just leaving the laundry room, and he had taken out my laundry and placed it on the top of the dryer, which might not be clean. I didn't argue with him, because I was late, even for a couple of minutes. But I wished he would have waited for, say, 5 minutes.

The breakfast is continental prepackaged bar. That was not restocked while I was there for 4 days, and they had odd tasting boxed milk.

They had two different mattresses on the beds, The trash can in the room was broken.

Good location for catch northern lights, easy self check in and free laundry.
