This stay was a disappointment. I had hoped that the bad reviews were wrong, but it is the good reviews that are completely wrong. The hotel may be nice on the outside, but the inside is definitely not what it appears in the photos. Or overall. I would recommend that if you are looking for a 4-star luxury stay on Naxos, that you find another hotel. The breakfast was the same, and very boring, with dry egg dishes as the only healthy thing they offered. I have not eaten either lunch or dinner here. As I found it uninviting and there are MANY good restaurants along the beach, which are within walking distance. Their gym, reminded me of something left over from the 90s, stuffed with old machines and equipment. I would say that this hotel corresponds to a 2-3 star charter hotel. The towels, especially for the pool - were old and relatively small, compared to pool towels. One positive thing, I can say, however, and that was that the staff both at the reception and the restaurant were super nice and helpful. Very much indeed! They should be praised for that. The service was on point! :-) I was not satisfied with our room upon arrival and asked nicely for another better one, which they immediately offered me free of charge. The staff in the restaurant, were also nice and helpful. I must say. Regarding the cleaning, the towels were only changed and the sink was just wiped clean. The floor was not cleaned the 4 nights we were here.. nothing more was done, which is to be expected. Glasses were simply washed and put to dry on the sink, i.e. they were not wiped down either, which I also found strange. I cannot recommend anyone to stay here if they are looking for a 4-star luxury stay, because this hotel, unfortunately, does not live up to that. But if you are ok with less, it is probably fine enough for some.

Right on Plaka Beach, clean rooms, very nice staff, complimentary pickup and dropoff at the ferry port, two pools with lots of sun beds and umbrellas, close to restaurants and bus stop, good breakfast. Charming, unpretentious town.

Bed linens are a bit dingy and could be replaced, at least one bottle of water should be provided each day since water is not drinkable, and breakfast hot items could be warmer.

We had a nice big room with a private pool. No issues with the room, it’s renovated, with some Greek design features, the bed was comfortable, a cleaning team made their job perfectly. The hotel is about 150 m from the best beach on the island and one of the best in Europe. You can also find some nice restaurants in 10 min walking distance. The only minus of the location is the road - it’s parallel to the beach, quite busy and flying sand can disturb you while walking.

We liked absolutely everything. The room was very clean, nicely decorated with nice view from the terrace. We didn’t use pool but it looked spotless and very beautiful. The breakfast choice was good, we even tried the restaurant - excellent experience. Taxi drive from the airport to hotel and vice versa is provided for free, very nice receptionist organised everything flawlessly. We specially loved the beach, excellent service, yes you pay some consumption fees for use of sun beds, but we would anyway order food and drinks as we spent days on the beach.

Our otherwise unforgettable perfect restaurant experience was spoiled by noisy guests who came to sit exactly next to our table bringing their own food and drinks (yes! unbelievably rude) but as being hotel guests, professional staff couldn’t interfere. If we have to be really picky, jacuzzi wasn’t very helpful as it was overfilled with water and overflowed as we entered and flooded terrace below, so we never used it again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Aegean Palace. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax right away. The atmosphere was welcoming, and everything felt thoughtfully cared for. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

Everything met or exceeded my expectations.
