"Dirty bed and bedding"

Location is great.

The pull out sofa and bedding was filthy. We had two clean the pull out sofa. It had crumbs and dirt all over the bed. The bedding was dirty, the blanket appeared to have vomit stains on it. It was disgusting. The property manager was very responsive, came out with new bedding and assured us we would get compensated for this. She saw the picture of the dirty bed and took the dirty blanket. We checked out yesterday, their offer today was 100$ towards a future stay with them. we had to clean our own bed and handle dirty bedding and the offer is a credit for a future stay. no thanks!

"Lovely place!"

The place is super cute and convenient. We really enjoyed our stay. Had a little trouble with the new door lock they installed, but it was remedied that same night and was smooth sailing afterwards.

It is in a great location & the bed upstairs is AWESOME!! so very comfortable!!

No complaints here! The only thing I will say is that if you have children and are wanting nighttime privacy (ex. If you kick out of covers, there’s no hiding your nakedness.) there is no door to the upstairs room. 🤭 However, not really a problem though bc we love traveling with our children.

"Too much for too little."

Location. Bathtub. Bed comfortable.

Poorly built. Fake everything. No cooking at all. Basically a $500/night hotel room with no service. No personality. No ambience. And it is rare I would ever comment unless I had something nice to say. It was that disappointing.

Facilities were very good and up to date. The facilities for a 'rental' had been worked out well. The location was excellent for Main St. Blowing Rock.

Cleaning of the balcony (and that of the two adjacent) balconies was not very good especially where the 'trex' boards were not under the roof - they need a good scrub. In addition dirt and other residues from previous renters was seen under the outside table, including cigarette ash NOT FROM US. In the bathrooms shower grab rails need to be installed and by the sinks extra towel rings/rails
