Stayed here for two nights on the way back home. We absolutely loved everything about this property. We have visited Blowing Rock on two previous travels down to the Carolina’s. This was by far our fav stay due to this property. The online communication with the team was efficient and continual as needed. We did have one issue with the streaming TV that was promptly attended to. As for the unit itself, just wonderful. We loved the two floor design with a balcony overlooking the street. We loved the full size kitchen AND having two bathrooms. Everything that we needed was fully stocked upon arrival. Was happy to find safe well-lit parking available each night. Upon arrival and my usual inspection, everything was found to be extremely clean and I truly appreciated that! We highly recommend staying at this property! Reach out to the staff and begin the open communication regarding your expectations of your stay and you will not be disappointed!!

Location was great proximity to downtown Blowing Rock. Excellent amount of space for a group of 4 adults + baby. Having 2 bathrooms was a huge plus as well. Kitchen space with a washing machine. Full size fridge (major bonus points).

Sound carries between units. Fans with lights are controlled by remote and would randomly turn off/on. We had issues with the lock code checking in but that was fixed quickly. Late check out also wasn’t communicated to housekeeping and properly setup to prevent our code from deactivating, we got locked out of our room with 2 more hours remaining on our reservation. Management seemed to struggle with smart locks.

Getaway is a very nice place to stay. The townhouse is very clean. The finishes are good quality. The mattress is very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to shops & restaurants.

Very clean. Good location.

VERY Spartan. NO blankets for downstairs pullout bed. Coffee maker was very high tech but didn’t actually dispense the coffee it was filled with. Light switches were weird-like bathroom light switch was inside the bathroom AND behind the door so you had to leave it on all nite or risk tripping. The lamp light switches were so hard to find I had to text for help. The non-stop directive texts from management were very disturbing and felt like Big Brother. Not a restful place to stay. Couldn’t wait to leave!
