Ishq Colombo

Ishq was wonderful. The entire villa is stunning! We had one of the master suites and it was huge, perfect for our young daughter to run around in. The staff were all wonderful, especially Asanga who helped us arrange whatever we needed and made Ishq feel like home.

Nothing - couldn’t fault the accomodation or service

This is an exceptional property with exceptional staff. With just four rooms the staff are able to provide personal attention of the highest standard. Our ‘personal butler’ Ashan was outstanding, always available, personable and a good source of advice. The food is great too. If you like busy hotels full of people this is not the place. If you want privacy, high quality and great service, well located, this is hard to beat.

Nothing - it exceeded expectation in every area

A private house with only 4 suites — and 10 staff! — in an elegant mix of modern functionality and traditional architecture, filled with superb antiques, decorated to perfection, equipped to the height of luxury, all around a green oasis just steps away from bustling Galle Road in central Colombo. Our butler could not have been nicer, and the food was both ambitious in range and perfect in execution.

There’s nothing not to like about the property — if you can afford it!

The architecture and space. (Every part shows the view Mr. Channa Daswatte would have imagined the place to be). The service is impeccable thanks to Asanga who took care of us. A special thankyou to Ms. Isabel as well.

That I stayed here only for 3 days! Could had stayed a bit longer easily and be lost in a reading a book, writing a book or a song.

Everything about our stay was impeccable, the room was top notch we were actually gutted that we were only staying for one night once we arrived. This place is a true oasis in the city and was truly lovely.
