Hotel Quiloma Ranch

The accommodation is in a perfect location for the area - close to the town and the ruins. There is also so much beautiful wildlife on-site and the staff are extremely kind and well informed on the same.

Not much. Our toilet didn’t flush very well and there’s no restaurant on-site, but taxis are easily organised and cheap.

Excellent budget property with decent sized room and a comfy bed for a really good price. Lovely pool area that’s great for relaxing after long trips into the jungle. You can order delivery pizza from reception. You’re basically in the jungle, surrounded by nature and animal noises! It’s lovely :)

The WiFi - it just doesn’t work at all at peak times when too many people are trying to use it. Just be aware of this if you’re wanting to plan onward travel while staying there. Seemed fine in the day when most people were out but it’s a no go in the evening.

recht laut (Straße, Vogel, Gartenarbeiten) und nicht richtig abdunkelbar, zu hohe Kopfkissen, die gut bewertete Pizzeria auf dem Gelände gab es leider nicht mehr, das war mit ein Grund wieso wir dort gebucht hatten, so gab es in der Gegend nicht wirklich viele Essensmöglichkeiten, in die Stadt kostet mit dem Taxi (wenn eins vorbei kommt) ca 60 Pesos. Der Pool war nett aber die Anlage ist nicht so super instand gehalten.

Beautiful location and area, we had howler monkeys and beautiful nesting birds on the premises. Bungalows are in good shape (of course the humidity is a struggle), basic k itchen functional Nice staff. This place has this 60s palm springs vibes to it, just 20 years later

There is no shop close by, do your groceries beforehand. One restaurant in the vicinity. Consider your food options before coming. The pool area is lacking some maintenance, swimming still nice. This is not a fancy place, but the right one is if you like to be in nature and independent.

A true paradise in the jungle with the most friendly staff! The pool was lovely and we spotted monkeys, agouti’s and birds everyday! The location is great, right between the city centre and the ruins. You can easily take a colectivo or taxi for a good price to get around. There are restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. There was free water to fill your bottles with and there’s a small fridge. Laundry was also possible. Highly recommend!
