Great location, nice decoration

Superb location in a quiet road, close to the centre of Bath. Great size and well equipped. Very comfortable, would definitely come back again.

One minor point is that there is nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. Just a hook added to the door would be perfect. Our daughter arrived first and it took her a while to realise you have to put your hand over the key pad on the apartment door, to activate it, before you can put the code in. An explanation in advance would have been helpful and have saved a few stressed minutes!

Wonderful, spacious & bright apartment in an incredibly central and convenient location in Bath. Genuinely an easy few minutes walk into the centre. We were very comfortable staying over the Easter bank holiday weekend, so much so we requested a last minute extra night, which was kindly accommodated by the host with great ease. We were staying in Bath with our four month old little boy and despite the flight of stairs up to the apartment, we managed very well with him and were able to leave the pram out of the way in the communal area in the entrance hallway (hopefully not inconveniencing anyone!!) Check in and general access to the property was brilliantly easy. We had been advised by the host to park in the Charlotte Street carpark, which was around an 7/8 minute walk away, which we did so after unloading our bags into the apartment. We found the beds to be incredibly comfortable with clean, fresh towels provided which was very convenient. The shower was lovely & powerful and constantly hot.

Unfortunately we did experience some trouble with the hot running water in the kitchen. It seemed to come & go and there were a few occasions when washing up, we noticed the tap would not run hot at all, which meant we had to boil the kettle regularly to wash our sons bottles. Another small issue was that the fridge door doesn’t fully close or at least needs a good shove to ensure it’s as close to closed as possible, again not ideal when storing bottles of formula. The only other slight negative we would add is the noise levels we experienced. Directly opposite is a pub with outdoor seating, which we found to be extremely loud, with people sitting outside way past 10.30pm. Overall though, we had a lovely, comfortable stay on Rivers Street and we would recommend this apartment as a great base to explore the lovely city of Bath.

The only thing that let the property down for me was the shower. Its very low pressure and feels like it’s giving out just a trickle of water.
