Northwinds Hotel Canmore

Amazing stay for a couple of days in Canmore/ Banff area. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was awesome and very helpful. They helped me get tickets to the Banff Gondola right at the desk and recommended great resaurants. The restaurant attached has an awesome breakfast which is discounted with a ticket from the front desk.. iI loved my stay hete and will definitely stay in the future. Way less expensive than Banff and less crowded.

Loved that this property was very modern and clean! I did a virtual check-in which they emailed a door code to my room so I didn't even have to go to the front desk to check-in. Was also impressed with my room's bathroom as it felt more like a home bathroom than a hotel bathroom. Great experience!

This seems to be a remolded older property. We had digital check in so did not interact with the front desk staff. It wasn't as quiet as some hotels but had a modern look and was comfortable. There are many amenities and dining options, as well as trails and mountains within walking distance.

Large spacious rooms. Clean. Good location with town and all amenities within walking distance. All requests fulfilled by staff

The room was good

The hotel met our needs for a two night stay. Was a convenient location and the staff were nice. The only issue was it was very humid and when we left, we noticed our clothing in our luggage smelt musty! They could use some serious dehumidification.

the only suggestion i have is they should have a couple of chairs and table at the back patio doors so we can sit outside

Only stayed one night but hotel was great. Good location, clean and staff was very friendly.

Room was very clean although unless you ask for more towels/bed changed/more coffee supplies, housekeeping does not come. Since we were at hotel for 4 nights, we asked for more supplies after 2 nights and they were supplied by around 4pm the 2nd day. Bathtub is very tall and you have to be careful getting in and out. Staff was very polite and helpful. Room does not have any extras; clock, phone or pen or paper. King bed was very comfortable. We had 2 rooms and upper floor had a balcony and lower room had sliding door to long shared grassy area. Heater worked very well and hotel was quiet. Wall dispenser had soap/shampoo/conditioner in tub/shower combo.

We enjoyed the mountain views and serenity of this hotel. Location was perfect for day tripping inside Banff.
