Good location

The unit we stayed in was basic. It’s what you would expect from New Orleans. It’s old. I’ve been there so many times and I love everything about the city. For somebody who has not been to New Orleans, the property is nothing special. The 2 1/2 bathrooms and two bedrooms was wonderful. The outside community area was nice. I think we saw maybe one other person there the entire time. Very quiet. The pool is not heated, but you would normally not need that and it’s nice. It’s really close to the Saint Charles Street car so that was convenient although it wasn’t running when were there due to weather. Parking was super simple right out front. There were a couple broken things such as the mirror in the front bedroom and the thermostats were tricky to coordinate. It was also much cooler than average when we were there so that might not be in all the time thing. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Just nothing special. They did allow us to check in early without having to pay anything extra which was very nice. The cleaning crew was waiting for us to leave. It a little later check out would’ve been nice maybe like 11 or 12 like mouse places but overall, it was an absolutely fantastic stay.

Property was in good shape & clean. Just would add that the Primary Batroom vent & extra light doesn't work & it would help to have a night stand on both sides of the king-sized bed. I would also cut down that bush in the front so you can see who is on the sidewalk.

We got in the day the tropical storm started. They upgraded us to a different unit due to renovations. It was super nice and very roomy. The property had everything we needed. Comfy beds, large kitchen and eating area, and a nice private patio area out back. We spoke with Anna at Hosteeva and she answered all our questions and was very timely. Would definitely recommend!

Cons: Pictures for this property are out of date. Bush by front door is extremely overgrown and missing paint on front door makes the place look old and sketchy. Upstairs bedrooms got hot, (but we like to sleep in iceboxes to be fair) even at night with temp setting in house at 70*. They do have a box fan in closet- but it's old and not very strong. Wireless Internet is 2/5 at best. Pros: Pool is 5ft deep- very clean and comfortable. Quiet area, easy to get to and walk to the trolly on St. Charles. House was clean, beds were comfortable. All necessities worked without issue- (except internet VERY slow) Check-in process was very easy. Popeyes, Wendy's, Burger King all within walking distance for close fast-food. We enjoyed the close family owned restaurants as well. Overall- We were happy with our stay, and will likely request to stay in the future. We will just bring a fan next time!
