Mi primer viaje a Colombia y la impresión del hotel fue maravillosa volveré a quedarme allí

It was okay. Hotel needs updating.

While this property is very nice and presents nice, the room is extremely small. Pictures are very deceiving. This is meant for short days with no real luggage. First floor by the elevator is very noisy. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Can’t even leave the balcony door open because of all the construction noise.

The property overall was good. The only negative on the property was that the shower water was an issue for 2 days. It was either freezing cold or steam hot water.

The staff was very nice. The rooms are a little stuffy and wet smelling but nice overall.

The hotel and the staff I interacted with was extremely nice, however I paid extra for the King suite with the terrace and jacuzzi and the jacuzzi wasn’t fully functional. The heater didn’t work, nor did the light and the terrace is extremely dark. So that ended up being a waste of money. The front desk sent a housekeeper to attempt to fix it (which I was very confused about) and further sent a maintenance guy (he placed a blue mat inside of it and never returned) I spoke with the manager for 3 days straight and explained my frustration and attempted to give him an opportunity to resolve (because this trip was especially for my husbands birthday) however when asked if unplanned to return and explained that due to what’s going on in the country we don’t plan to anytime soon - I never heard back from him and he completely stopped responding to me. It’s a complete slap in the face. I waited to write this review to see how they would resolve my concerns and it’s been almost a week and we still haven’t found resolve. Still no further response from the front desk manager.

I really like the front desk team and staff. Felipe was amazing!. Everyone was very attentive and nice. I do feel that there are a few/easy things that they could do better. For example: tissue paper(Kleenex), liquid shower gel (I only had shampoo and conditioner), and a bumper or chain lock for the room door. I slept a whole night with the door a little bit open because it didn't fully close.

Wonderful location and wonderful staff! I really enjoy being here.

**Selvario 36 is a hotel with a unique jungle-inspired theme.** The entire space is decorated with real tropical plants, creating a lush and immersive atmosphere. The rooms are quite small but thoughtfully designed and cozy. Mine had a small balcony filled with greenery, which added a very pleasant touch. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. There’s a small spa on-site—more like a massage room than a full spa—but the massages were excellent and reasonably priced. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location. It’s within walking distance of many great bars and restaurants, which makes it ideal for exploring the area on foot. That said, the vibrant nightlife can be a downside, as music from nearby venues can be heard in the rooms until late at night. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking for a unique, comfortable, and well-located stay—just be aware that it may not be the quietest.
