Edelweiss Resort and Restaurant

The people in charge of this property are very nice. We did have one dinner at the restaurant. The Inn is a bit older, but the room was a nice size and had what we needed. Plenty of towels.

The food and the view were excellent.

The hotel is very outdated and in need of repair. The front door handle was broke off. That’s a first impression and easy fix. The property was dirty and had a horrible smell. A deep cleaning and basic maintenance would go a long way. No heat but space heaters everywhere. A beautiful fire place in the lobby but no fire. It had a sign that said if you want one, build one. Our room had an awful smell. The refrigerator was turned off but not cleaned. Rotten take out food left in the fridge was the smell. The hot tub was nice, in working order and clean.

I liked the cabin feel of it. I’m sad because they are selling it though :(

I love the separate little cabins, but we’ve stayed in the main building, too. My only issue with our cabin was that it was COLD, and the heating unit near the ceiling had the warm air rising up to the vaulted roofs and kept the floor chilly. We turned in the fan and built a fire, but I was still bundled up to keep warm! We like the associated restaurant, but it seemed overpriced. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a nice little overnight getaway!

We loved our stay. There were many things to enjoy at the resort. From the food and beer selections at the restaurant to the jacuzzi and sauna after a long day playing in the snow. The fireplace in the cabin was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was a nice grill to use as well. We will be back to make more family memories at Edelweiss.

Thw property is for sale so the minumum is done.. There was no firewood for the fireplace but if I wanted to go out behind the building I could bring some up and start a fire. The place was clean. I wouldn't necessary call what was available for breakfast an adult breakfast

Great weekend! Very accommodating

No security around the property. Doors were never locked. No one available for questions or assistance.

Website and hotel.com listing showed option for a king size and pull out couch but when we arrived we’re told that option is not available. Two queens were offered but this was not ideal. I paid extra for an upgraded room. Usually stay here when we visit Greer but will look elsewhere from now on.
