The breakfast provided was delicious. Although it is a set menu with limited selections, all of the meals we had (we tried all of the options during our stay) were delicious. The shower space was spacious. We appreciated that they provided a premium Taiwanese brand shampoo and shower gel, and that there was a rain shower head and a handheld shower head. The location was a great base from which to explore the city.

The bed was very firm (too firm for us) but the female front desk staff was helpful in providing extra pillows for comfort. When we arrived (before check in time), the luggage storage area and reception was unattended. We were attended to by a staff member from the in-house restaurant. Ultimately, our luggages were fine but we felt a bit unsure about leaving our luggage in a space that was unattended - not the most pleasant first experience/impressions of the hotel. The walls were pretty thin. We could hear housekeeping cleaning the room next door. The chairs in the room were aesthetically pleasing but functionally uncomfortable. The cushioning in the seat of one of the chairs were so thin that we could feel the nails from the top of the chair legs when we sat down. The location of the toilet roll holder being high and behind was a bit annoying.
