This is a magical place. It is serene, calm, beautifully designed and considered.

Nothing, I loved everything about it

De Saram House is a beautiful Geoffrey Bawa cration, wonderful to have a chance to stay at the big room and at this accomodation managed by the kind staff of the Bawa Trust. Location is good, room and place is beautiful.

A few small things could be better, but this should not take away for the uniqueness of the place, remember, this is why you should be going here - it is unique. However, wifi is lousy, water pressure in the shower is no good, bed a bit stiff. The gaarage ringing door situation a bit annoying.

C’est le fonctionnel érigé en esthétisme : sobre quoique harmonieux , simple mais très bien élaboré , Dès qu’on pénètre dans l’enceinte, le côté épuré de cette réalisation de Bawa nous frappe comme une évidence . On en ressort convaincu que le lieu , son emplacement était bien trouvé , on ne voit pas comment on aurait pu mieux faire … Bravo 👏 l’artiste

Incredible beautiful property with the nicest staff

This place is truly special. I am so grateful for the opportunity to not only visit but stay in such an iconic home. The staff were magnificent and the architecture sunning.

The fact we had to leave! I could have stayed there forever.

It was great to stay in another Geoffrey Bawa property and this did not disappoint. The property is fantastic with authentic communal spaces. staff were really helpful/

There was some variation in the rooms, ours had a separate bathroom but it did have a loverl balcony.

Beautiful property, especially if you are a fan of Geoffrey Bawa, with lovely garden. Feels like a sanctuary in the bustle of the city. Staff were very friendly. A quick tuk tuk to most of the city.
