The entire house is fantastic: amazing architecture, smart organization of space and furniture; beautiful colours and good taste in everything. The area is actually very quiet; if you're looking for a nice, quiet stay, far from the noise and the crowded places, this can be the perfect choice. We never met the owners because it's a self check-in accommodation, but they were super caring in writing us (via WhatsApp) before and during our stay. They also gave us some advice for sightseeing and public transportation. From Akrotiri you can reach every spot on the Island in max 30-40 mins; there's a supermarket in 5 mins walking, a restaurant and a pharmacy in 2 mins walking. There are 2 big parking areas nearby. Note: parking outside the house is technically forbidden (there's also a sign), but you can drive up and stop for loading/unloading if you have enough space to park. In the house you'll find the basics for cooking an easy meal. If you keep walking up from the house, you'll reach the Venetian Castle where you can enjoy an amazing view. Entrance is free. The village around it will instantly drag you in the perfect Greek picture: white and blues houses, narrow paths and stairs, bougainvillea and cats all over the place! Note: cats are taken care of by the population, in fact you'll see a lot of food and water bowls; they're part of the community, therefore just leave them be. Same for the house cats you'll see around the property; the friendly ones will approach you for some cuddles. If you're thinking about enjoying the sunset from the lighthouse, just be aware of the crowd you might find. For the Italians: don't bother looking for a good espresso... But, if you find it, it won't be cheap! On the other hand, the "freddo espresso" (kind of like an iced coffee) might surprise you in a very good way. Secluded beaches can be reached by car and on foot; just look for the non equipped/unorganized...

Only 2 things a little annoying, but nothing serious: - the electric stove is actually too small (if you're used to cook, needless to say): you have to use it with one pan at the time; - while it's amazingly beautiful, the "chimney" inside the kitchen can be a bother in case of strong wind because of the dust and the little rocks which will fall inside and cover the kitchen surface. As I said, nothing serious! 😊

Location fine. No breakfast.

No coffee pods left. Used ones left in coffee maker. Kitchen cupboard smelled mouldy. Complementary wine and water nice but better to put in the fridge rather than leave on counter. Fragrance sticks overpowering, had to put outside.

Nice traditional accommodation, great quiet location with nice view. In the room you will find everything you need for your stay. Accommodation suitable for travelers who want to avoid the crowds, because Akrotiti is small nice village.

I would add a dish drainer to the room :)
