We reached there while it was raining. Their rooms were leaking, rooms were not luxurious at all. Their rooms have roofs that are not sealed shut, bugs keep falling from the roof. We couldn't sleep at all as water and bugs kept falling from the roof all night long. In the morning we saw a lot of trees had fallen all over the property, Very dangerous for the guests. The food was very bad, they reheated the food kept in the fridge and served it. The breakfast buffet was very poor, no variety at all very basic, barely 2,3 items like idly, paratha , dosa and that too was not good tasting. They were very focused on getting payment but not ready to give anything back. When we reached there they told us that the whole week it will be stormy and it will rain heavily based on the weather forecast, why would they accept booking when they know this?? Trees falling, roof leaking and rooms filled with bugs and insects it is an unsafe environment but they don't care they only want money so they don't warn guests about this. Very focused on money, took half payment in advance when we booked, then as soon as we reached there the first thing they asked was the rest of the payment. Understaffed, workers seemed overworked. When we saw it was unsafe to be there we checked out the very next day, they kept singing that it's all non-refundable. We value our safety over money so keep our money and we checked-out.

The accommodation was unique because it is set very much in nature and you can walk around the coffee plantation as well as spot a variety of birds. We enjoyed a guided tour at 4pm with a very knowledgeable naturalist. The estate also has many facilities such as badminton, TT, swimming pool, carrom board, snooker table and pool table. The room was very big and the bathroom also. The view from the room was great and facilities great. We enjoyed all our meals as well as the included breakfast. There was also a facility which had a room full of plants so guests could enjoy sitting indoors with nature. Some people also used bicycles around the estate, but we didn't have time.

The power did fluctuate quite a lot so maybe that needs to be looked into as it also may have affected the hot water for my wife as she showered second. We also were unlucky as a rat gnawed the petrol pipe in our car and when we drove off there was a strong smell of petrol. Luckily, we stopped off at a nearby petrol station and a mechanic managed to fix the pipe. Apparently, there is a spray or something you can buy to make rats stay away, but just be aware, and if you smell petrol, do something quick...we lost 1/4 tank of petrol over 3km of driving.

We were given welcome drinks on arrival. The room is spacious & well appointed. Toiletries are provided. The room is kept spic& span.The staff is warm& friendly. As vegetarians we found the food preparations erratic. Some days it was good, some days it was aweful. We stayed from 19/02 to 22/02. The first two days, food was good. Then it went downhill. By the way, there are no ACs in the cottages,but then you don't need one . Also , there are a lot of creepy crawlies. No use worrying about it . Just call the staff, they come & remove them. After all the beautiful location& lovely weather can make up for any shortcomings.

The food. After all with no other place to go to, the taste should be above par. Not cooked in a haphazard way

Wi-Fi connectivity was low

Gusting winds, chirping birds, pure air and lake on the property. Just serene and calm. The cottages are big and sit outs are great. Sushant and Pandav in the restaurant were excellent. The Italian restaurant has amazing location and food. Spread across 72 acres, they have only 22 cottages and the cottages were made without cutting any trees. Very environment friendly resort.

Breakfast menu was not really great. Also only 2 staff were working in the restaurant hence service was little slow. They definitely did their best to cover up. Bathrooms are very big but they lack hooks to hang clothes. The tea bags in the room were pretty OK. The tea tasted anything but like Tea. The location is so good, one would live non stop tea/ coffee especially when reading a book....this is missing. Need a Spa asap....then it's a perfect 5/5.
