Lounge zones is very good

My bed was in front of main Street, big traffic, big noise, there was a hole in the wall because of AC, so all noise went directly to my room/bed.

The private room smelled pretty bad and the restrooms were discusting as the guests are not very worried about letting the place clean.

I think the hostel deserves a better rate than the one it has. It is more social than many hostels around, the pool table really makes the difference. It doesnt seem fancy from the outside, but you have everything what you need, there is plenty of space to hang around

The kitchen can be a bit better equipped Also only cooking on induction plates available

Best part of the property is the vibe People always playing pool on the pool table Communal movie nights Card games in the common area People bringing home food from the restaurants they work at There’s also a washing / drying machine you can use Also great location a three minute walk from the tram station

Bathrooms could be cleaner and sometimes soap in the dispensers runs out Also some rooms get a bit hot w/o air conditioning

Really great hostel, super good staff and worth staying at in Melbourne
