"Do not stay here - Left after one night"

2.0

We had initially been booked for five nights but left after one! This "hotel" is firstly challenging to find. The signage to find it is very poor, to the point that our taxi had to do three laps of the one-way block to find it. The check-in desk is in a restaurant, and the staff, whilst friendly, didn't have our booking and didn't know we were arriving. Thus we were obviously given an unprepared room in a rear building. This first-floor room had obvious rising dampness, and was grimy with very dirty sheets. A kicked-in hole in the bathroom door allowed mosquitoes in all night. the balcony door locking latch engaged only 1-2 times for every 10 we tried to lock it; thus the room couldn't be secured, which was particularly as there is a public lane only a low wall from the balcony door. We had to ask the staff at the desk for toilet paper, they then said it would be 20 minutes whilst a member went to the shop to buy some! The location is one street away from Tito's Lane which has blaring music for most of the night and the associated partying throughout the laneway to our rear. considering we had stayed across Asia and India for the last three months this was by far the worst.
