Hotel Giles

This was an anniversary trip for my wife and I. It was our first time staying at Hotel Giles. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the hotel. We will be back.

Convenience of location, nice staff, good breakfast. Appreciated the coffee maker and fridge in room.

Room nice, comfortable bed, but very plain, almost utilitarian. Some artwork or more colorful bedding would be nice. Lobby and social areas were very nicely decorated.

Our second visit to Hotel Giles was just as fantastic as the first. While the town was quiet for a Monday, it was perfect for what we needed. The room was so comfortable that we did not want to leave. Breakfast could not be missed as there plenty of tasty treats. This time we had puffed pastry with eggs and sausage or bacon. The fresh fruit is always a bonus. Last time we had homemade jam! Everyone there seemed truly happy to have us visit. They made us feel welcomed and checked frequently to see if we needed anything. They continue to make upgrades and improvements. Kuddoes to the staff for retrofitting a room in this historic property to be an ADA compliant. The entry ramp out front is a nice touch for those of us with knee issues. Looking forward to our next visit!

Very cozy cottage! Beautiful hotel! Breakfast was delicious and prepared with love! Loved having a great cup of coffee in the morning!

This is a lovely historic hotel that has been updated and is very cozy. The rooms are large for a historic hotel which adds to the comfort. Fantastic location on High Street - very walkable. Breakfast was included and very good.

Love the historical nature of the property. Chose this hotel for how close it is to Fredericksburg for the parade. This trip was for our 11th wedding anniversary, and we plan to come back.

Great place to stay. Beautiful historical building. The staff were very attentive and so nice and pleasant. Located in downtown Comfort, Texas. Happy Hour in the Parlor room with cozy fireplace. Delicious hot breakfast served daily in the restored carriage house. Plan ahead they book fast.

It was our first experience at The Giles and it was great! Room was nice and cozy and the fresh cooked breakfast was a great way to start the day!

Amazing experience! Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, relaxing setting. Definitely would come again. True Texas hospitality!

Check in was easy. We loved the room and the breakfast was great. Hotel Giles reminds me of Hallmark movie! I loved the San Saba hand soap and lotion too!
