Bridge Hideaway

Lovely cottage and perfect for what we were after. A comfortable place to use as our base to explore.

Good location

The property was not clean plus anyone 5ft+ ywould find it difficult to stand upright No WiFi

Clean and brilliant location. Car park pass provided for local car park.

Set up of the living room - the large sofa is in an awkward angle to see the TV when relaxing from the local walks (minor point)

Value for money, so clean and comfortable, we both loved it . Location amazing, central to town, shops , restaurants and canal .

Loved everything, the only thing I could suggest which isn't a criticism would be some type of enclosure for our dog to sit out .

Location was excellent and the bedroom was quite nice. Kitchen was decently equipped. Bathroom had a nice hot shower. Parking pass a definite plus for such a busy day tripping town. Good walks on the canal behind the apartment.

The living room doesn't function very well. The couch is tucked under the stairs so you can't really see the TV. No coffee table to put things, or coat stands for jackets. Found that room not pleasant to be in.

The property was clean and modern. It was really comfortable and cosy, we all felt at home staying here. The location was perfect too.

The property is in an ideal location for the town yet tucked away from the noise of the traffic.

Silly little things could have made our stay excellent. I know it was a late booking but the property was freezing cold on arrival. No heating on at all . Even though the welcome folder stated instructions for all appliances are by them , sadly we couldn’t find any instructions for anything. The treat jar for the dog was empty, also the bed could do with being a king size bed . Also a suggestion would be a sliding door on the kitchen instead of an open gap , plus a curtain across the door . As when we stayed it was in - figures in temperature and the log burner just didn’t seem to warm the house enough.

Self catering...great location.

Couldn t fault this cottage.

It was clean and cosy and a perfect touch was seeing a Christmas tree upon arrival. Hosts thought of everything down to an iron an even tea and coffee!
