Gorgeous View Motel

Very nice stay. Clean but very basic. I would stay here again

Every thing was good. Room was clean. Not a lot of noise. AC worked fine. Nice hotel at a decent price. I would stay there again.

The name fits the hotel perfectly. Gorgeous view. I will stay there everytime I go to the area. The room was clean, comfortable and located in a perfect spot. The staff was very nice and attentive.

Leaving

Room smelled like urine, very strong, and the owners are criminals. I'll get to all of that. The worst customer service in my 51 years on earth. We booked the hotel, paid then called about my sister's service dog." $100k deposit for dog" they said. So, we asked for a refund. No, we're keeping the money, and you have to leave the dog home. Then, after many calls, they allowed the service dog for an additional $40 cleaning fee, with lots of subtle threats about what would happen if the dog caused damage. So, we tried it anyway, then, they gave us a room that smelled like somebody peed out a camfire in it. Strong rotten public bathroom smell. They refused to provide a different room or refund our money. They won in the end, because we were tired from traveling and just booked a room elsewhere. Criminals, scammers stay away. STAY AWAY!

Location was convenient and very scenic, as the name of the place indicated.

Room appointments were sub-par. One after-thought lamp other than the overhead fluorescent. Shower stall was barely big enough to turn around. No desk, no easy chairs, just a couple of mass-market chairs and tables other than the bed.

The view really IS GORGEOUS!! The bed was super comfey!! It was very quiet.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Do be careful turning into and leaving the property, however.

The staff let us check in early. Room was very clean with a gorgeous view of Saranac Lake. Fire pit in the evening was a big plus. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back.

Bed was so noisy each time we moved the springs made very loud noise. Made it incredibly difficult to sleep.
