Punch Tree Green Cabin Outdoor Bath & Wood Burner

We stayed in Copper Beach Cottage, it was in the perfect location to unwind and relax. Our host Joanne was very welcoming and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the bed was really comfortable and we braved the bath outside, which was lovely and warm on a cold February night with the added bonus of listening to an owls call. Everything you could need is supplied for the benefit of enjoying your stay. It was worth a visit and we hope to stay again.

The cabin was so welcoming and cosy, the grounds were beautiful, relaxing in the outdoor bath was absolute bliss, the hosts were lovely, nothing was too much trouble.

Nothing at all that we didn't like. We will absolutely be back.

The cabin is everything it looks like online and more. The surrounding area is almost pure nature, providing plenty of walks through the forest area or by the river Clyde. It is the get away that we need from time to time where there is next to no other people near by and allowing you to be at one with nature. To top it off, we spent the night in the tub outside, where deer walked by without even being startled by our presence, surreal!

I’m one to enjoy a hot cuppa in the morning however no milk was provided (very minor thing). The fire starting kit could do with more paper and kindling to allow the fires to properly catch onto the logs and stay lit for the night.

The outdoor bath needed a clean of leaves and debris but it’s out doors on a wooded area so I doubt this could be helped. There was a lot of flies around the bath area as well while the bath was full but seemed to disappear after that.

Just a perfect beautiful stay.
