Spacious bedrooms and large well stocked kitchen

2 of 3 showers either were broken or flooded the property so could not be used. A handyman visited and said he could not do anything but we should not use the main bedroom en-suite. We heard no more from the agent and were offered no compensation. The other double bedroom had a bath but the shower head had broken off and so the shower was also unusable. There was 1 tiny piece of soap in the whole house and a few dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid otherwise no soap/shower gel or welcome basket. For £1360 for 6 nights I’d have expected more.

Great location. Has everything we needed.

We kept getting messages saying I hadn’t paid even though agent agreed we had. Check in was 4pm which I thought was late. We had to pay £25 for 2pm check in which I thought was unreasonable.

Excellent location, well equipped, very comfortable, was nice to have 3 bathrooms

Our only complaint was the outside, it could have done with with a tidy up! First impressions are quite important! And dirty window seals doors and garden furniture does not make a good impression, and using the garden spaces inviting

Mattress in downstairs bedrooms a bit uncomfortable. Steep steps to kitchen- not sure if this was mentioned in write up but bit tricky for elderly parents. Was a handrail

Location was perfect. Loved that all the rooms had ensuite. Almost everything we needed. Very cozy lounge. Lovely modern kitchen. Wished the weather was kinder so we could enjoy the outside space more. Pillows were heaven! Enjoyed the nature books and family. games

A later checkout- maybe 11- would be so much better. 10 is early when you need to strip beds etc and clean and you have young children. Didn’t like the coffee machine! Would suggest a cafetière or regular filter coffee machine. Mattresses were not comfortable at all. Wooden bed very squeaky! Not a dislike- just a comment- stair gate was a nice detail for those with small children but not useful when there are two sets of stairs! Need two! Hob was frustrating to work.
