King's View Lodge

My partner was blown away by the panoramic views. The outlook from the bed was relaxing, sun coming in the tiny roofline window first thing in the morning, and the cool vibe. Comfortable for one person or a couple - maybe offer to remove the single bed when a couple rent the suite - but it had everything. The hosts even provided extra ice for our drinks!!

In the ensuite, the floor of the Pool View Suite squeaked so badly, I'd hate to be the people in the accommodation below. The switch for the bed lights over both beds were concealed. Not easy to turn off when laying in the bed. And sorry, an Air Conditioning unit should be installed; quite stuffy at night because of mosquitos.

Fabulous views and a great location to explore the area. We loved the pool and hot tub.

The kitchen area was very well equipped, but there wasn’t a lot of space for prepping and cooking meals.

The description on how to get there as well as accessing the pool suite was spot on, didn’t have to call. It was great knowing that we could. Another bonus was that everything I needed to use for cooking and cleaning was there. Complementary drinks was the best!

Wifi signal when watching movies. Other than that can’t fault anything else. Great hospitality and cleanliness. Me and my partner felt super welcomed. Wifi wasn’t that much of a biggie since everything else was amazing

Spacious and comfortable room. Very well equipped with great facilities. Super location and stunning views from the deck. There is also a pool and jacuzzi for guests use.

Toilet door was hard to open due to fluffy carpets.

Room is as described, with everything we needed for our stay! The hosts also provided some snacks and beverages on our arrival which was lovely!

As this room is downstairs to the other rooms, you can hear creaks from footsteps and drawers slamming from the other guests upstairs. Earplugs are your best travelling friend :)

Beautiful views and a nice room with a comfortable bed.. great location to explore the north island. Nice to take jacuzzi after a hike up the mountain behind the house.

No air condition…. Arrived to a real hot apartment. Had to open up all windows to air it out. There were no bug screens on the windows and we had mosquitoes attacking us at night. Also it was not very private… they had 3 rooms rented in their house .. some of the guests were loud and smoked on the porch which was right outside our room….which we did not like!

Everything the view, the facilities, the whole thing is set up for you to bring your food and relax, the pool area the decking heaven, Carol is a gem we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and PiPi.
