Great views and privacy.

The pool was full of dead bugs so we couldn’t swim and it was getting cleaned when we checked out. The fan above our bed was too loud to use at night so it was very hot. We did ask for it to be fixed and the owner came and spent some time in there trying to fix it but he obviously couldn’t but didn’t have the courtesy of telling us that he was unable to fix it. The major problem was that we booked the end unit because we didn’t want to disturb the other people staying in the middle unit when we went fishing. The room was confirmed as soon as we booked it in March and again when I checked with the owners directly a couple of days before arriving. The exact answer was of course you booked that room months ago! When we got there we were put in the middle unit. I asked again the next day when our fan wasn’t working if we could change rooms and we were told no it was booked for the night. We stayed 3 nights in a room we couldn’t use the ceiling fan in and the other people stayed for one night each (as far as we could tell) unfortunately this ruined our stay.

Great location, overlooking the bay. Good laundry facilities, very responsive hosts.

The beds were saggy and were uncomfortable to sleep in. Privacy may be an issue due to the common (back door) entrance for the adjacent occupants.

Very comfortable with fresh quality linen and everything one might have forgotten to bring. . Lori has equipped the apartment with all the extra toiletries you may need. Even left ½ doz organic eggs, and beverages in the fridge. A generous welcome to a rural location high in the hills above the Harbour with fabulous views. We have just travelled from Invercargill staying through the South Island in hotels and this has been the nicest B&B we have stayed in. Can fully recommend.

Hassle free & room ready on arrival

Beautiful view, comfortable bed and the facilities were excellent. The weather was awful but we made the most of it with a luxurious spa and all the complimentary snacks kept us sustained till we could venture out for a meal. The hosts were amazing, we even watched the rugby world cup final with them. We had a lovely experience.

The view was breathtaking, truly fit for a King 🙌 Soaking in the spa in the evening surrounded by the sound of nature while looking out at the view was an absolute dream. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. It was the best couple night's of sleep we've had in a long time. The personalized greeting card was such a thoughtful special touch, along with the complimentary goodies. Beautiful garden walk, and conveniently positioned right at the entrance of an amazing mountain track with 360 breathtaking views. Just an incredible place to relax and unwind. Will most definitely be back!! 🤍

The location was superb 👌

The stairs but that's coz I have a sore knee. The veiw was worth it.
