We had a lovely break at this cottage. The owner was so helpful in providing information prior to our stay – especially the route to get there. The roads are narrow and it’s definitely best to use the route Vida suggests rather than the Sat Nav! The cottage itself was really well equipped and comfortable. There is so much to do in the area and I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a lovely welcome from the host and we found the cottage to be very comfortable, cosy and spotlessly clean. Attention to detail was amazing and everything we needed was thought of and available. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we will definitely be returning in the future. It was so cozy and comfortable. Having everything available to make a fire in the log burner was a lovely touch, especially with the awful weather we had! 10/10 stay :)
NZAbsolutely everything- picture perfect location in stunning grounds and a very quiet village. Inside everything looked like new and was spotless. Peaceful to stay at but centrally located to go touring… which is just what we prefer- a busy day but peaceful evening. Good pub just up the road too. Every possibility was thought of as far as we could see and was catered for (including an excellent first aid kit for a certain clumsy husband…) Vida, our host, provided excellent advice and information on how to get there as well as what was to see in the area with plenty of guide books etc..i suggest you get her advice on how to find them rather than rely on Satnav (which sends you on all sorts of challenging routes).
