Excellent location right opposite and Oran Mor and the Botanic Gardens with super easy access to all the shops and restaurants on Byres Rd. You can get the subway into the city centre v easily and the apartment itself has a reasonably comfortable sofa in the living area which has not always been our experience! Do beware if you are coming by car as parking in the area is very expensive.

Bathroom is in dire need of a makeover and the shower was ancient. There were no bedside tables or lamps in the bedroom and some very 'creative' wiring in the small kitchen area. The blinds on the windows do nothing do stop the light pouring through them which is something you should be aware of during the summer months unless you normally get up at 5am! Our biggest gripe though, was the cost of parking in the area which is £4 per hour on the street and is limited to a 3hr stay. The closest car park is only a 5-7min walk away down Byres Rd but costs £22 to stay all day and overnight. We'd have appreciated this being mentioned by the host when we booked which is something other reviews of the property have mentioned.

Perfect location. The apartment was easy to get into. Gorgeous unit. Very clean and Super cozy. Easy walking to loads of fun destinations. Right next to the Botanical Gardens! Coffee and tea were provided (no creamer though).

The bed was a little small for my 6'4" husband... mattress didn't offer much back support. But it was clean and appreciated at the end of the day. The unit is on the 1st floor - so it was a bit of a struggle to get our heavy luggage up the long staircase. Not a big deal, but be prepared to carry things up in shifts.

The apartment was bright and looked comfortable but we were unable to stay because of expensive parking Would be great location if you walked in or got a taxi

No parking £1 for fifteen minutes if you could figure out how to pay it. Tried to call the number posted to pay but never managed to get through We were unable to stay because of no parking and were not refunded

"It's all about the location."

Super location in up market West End. Considerable range of pubs, restaurants and cafés. Short walk to the Botanical Gardens and easy walk to the Clydeside distillery. A spacious and bright apartment with high ceilings and windows. Washing machine which is useful on a long vacation. Comfortable. Good value for location. Good value parking just over half a mile away at the Old School House, Eldon Street, G3 6NG. Short term parking outside whilst unloading.

First impressions of tired communal area and landings. Parking outside expensive and restrictive. No patio area as promised. Attention to detail:- Tired apartment. Whilst we had little call for an oven, it was nevertheless dirty and ancient. Bathroom extractor filthy. Fire alarm hanging from the ceiling. Nail heads poking out of carpets. Mish mash cutlery. A missing blind at one of the windows. No plug in the bathroom sink. No bedside tables. Hideous wire hangers. 11 plastic plants which have no aesthetic purpose and do nothing to lift the human spirit in an indoor space. Inconclusive telephone conversation regarding parking with the owner.

the location is very noisy from the traffic and the bars over the road. the bathroom needs work.

Very big flight of stairs- so not suitable for many to carry luggage. Worst aspect was lack of parking in area in spite of description assuring us it would be available. Outside apartment £1 per 15 minutes to max of 3 hours. In area had to pay till 10pm and unable to access app using phone number supposed to be for foreign phone owners. We abandoned our stay and left Glasgow. Warning do not rent this property if you have a car.
