Great communication from the moment we booked. Accommodation spacious and modern and met our requirements. Clean and everything we needed for our stay. Good wifi connection. Secure onsite parking so close to centre was a bonus.

"Central location to historic area; responsive host"

Julie was very helpful before the stay with regard to collecting payment and sending information about how to obtain kieys. She also was very accommodating of our request to leave our bags in the apartment due to our check in/out times. We appreciated this. The apartment is very close to downtown Ipswich historic area (parks, pubs, historic buildings) and the waterfront. Everything was within walking distance. The train station is a 20 minute was away, with a slight uphill area. Not easy when schlepping bags. Apartment has well equipped kitchen and roomy shower. Plentiful hot water. Normal (comfort) height toilet seat.

The location doesn't show up on Google maps correctly. Beware - we ended up in an alley with questionable people milling around. Local woman helped me locate the apartment based on address. Apartment is on same block with the probation office and there were people milling around all day (we were there on weekday), and it was quite loud with shouting. Also, the apartment is directly on the road and traffic noise was loud all day. These were things we could deal with - the one thing in this apartment that wasn't clear from the ad or photos is that the apartment is on multiple different levels - with steps into/out of every room. There is a wooden piece on most of the stops that makes stepping difficult for people with mobility issues (I had injured my knee the week before and had BIG problem especially into the bedroom.) The second major issue is the scented cleaning products. The apartment has extremely strong scents in the area outside the bath/kitchen.
