Starry Meadow & Rescued Animal Experiences

We loved all the details in the shepards hut, the animals, the cats were so friendly and the peace and quiet of the location. The hut itself was so comfortable and cute and the scenery around was beautiful, we are definitely looking to book again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like at all

The privacy, the bbq and fire pit. It was lovely surroundings. The donkeys and pigs are funny. Hearing the donkeys was wonderful, and the cats coming to say hello.

Perfect, cosy and romantic. Very rustic- and comfortable. I felt spiritually connected. Great ambience. Excellent amenities and Amanda is lovely.

Beautiful couple of nights away .very peaceful just perfect

A very clean, cosy and comfortable hut. Well equipped and beautifully situated, Attention to detail was very noticeable with lovely decor in the hut. Updates and communication with the owner was exceptional, very welcoming. Shower was lovely and warm, heating for hut ideal (much needed as we had snow!) Outdoor facilities such as gas bbq and fire pit were perfect Information on local attractions etc were readily available Would highly recommended this glamping spot.

Location, attention to detail and comfort was very good. Amanda is very attentive and quick to respond to messages. She gave us some great suggestions of places to visit eg mississippi boat cruise, poppylands authentic WW2 tea garden, beach with sea lions which although we only saw in the sea was still a beautiful beach. Great stay and definitely happy to recommend

We loved the ambience. Cosy little shepherd’s hut with everything you need. A lot of thoughtful additions to make the stay wonderful. Amanda was a fantastic host and quickly responded to our enquiry with lots of welcoming info. The heater was on ready for our arrival and she texted to make sure that we had settled in. We soon made a fire up outside and got dinner going on the BBQ. It was so peaceful and relaxing sitting out round the crackling fire in the evening. A great place to unwind and to feel closer to nature. The cats came to investigate us and enjoyed cuddles by the fire. We were amused in the morning by the pigs snoring away loudly and happily. Starry Meadow is definitely on our wish list for another stay. Can’t wait to come back! Lots to do around the area too. Altogether, a really delightful stay.

Nothing! We were well informed to bring lots of warm bedding and firewood so it was all perfect.
