Polo Beach Club

The Polo Beach club was the best experience ever. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We have been to Maui many times and prefer beach front condo and this one is the best so far. The pool was closed so the Fairmount Kea Lani next door let the Polo Beach Club residents and guests use their beautiful pools. The staff at the Kea Lani are the best as well. I was a little nervous at first about staying here from some of the reviews I read and I have to say I found none of the negative things that they put in their reviews. We just found our permanent vacation spot!

We were fortunate to be assigned a newly renovated "million dollar" condo, beautifully appointed, functional and perfectly located. We were welcomed with helpful instructions, minimal reasonable rules and high quality discount coupons to upscale 4 and 5 star restaurants. Linen service exceeded our expectations as did 7-day a week personal concierge service. No constructive criticism to offer.

After a week in West Maui, our family of four plus a friend of one of our boys spent our final three nights at the Polo Beach Club and REALLY enjoyed our stay. We were in a first floor condo so no hassles with elevators/stairs - just a 2 minute walk to Polo Beach, which is a wonderful, private and clean beach with very little coral at the shorebreak. The Kea Lani is next door and we went to their Café Ciao a few times for snacks. We also enjoyed the walking path that extends north to the Shops at Wailea to avoid the car whenever possible. The condo itself had plenty of room, all essentials were provided, beds were comfy and the A/C was powerful. Do keep in mind that the PBC is basically a condo complex so no on-site shops/restaurants so one needs to either visit the grocery store to prepare food in the kitchen or walk/drive to local hotels/restaurants. If I had one nit, it would be that the LR sectional and chairs could be updated but we spent very little time in the living room so not a big deal. We had a red-eye flight on our last day, with about 10 hours between check-out and departure. Bart Goddard, the PBC manager, was SO kind and thoughtful as he provided us with a vacant ocean-front condo to use until our drive to the airport! Thanks, again, so much, Bart, for allowing us to enjoy the PBC and beach for that extra 6-7 hours!!

We were staying at the Polo Club to attend a party at the Kea Lane next door. Location is fantastic and our room and view were spectacular. Roominess of the condo was better than the villas at the Kea Lane!

Beautiful condo. Spectacular view. If you are looking for the busy resort atmosphere, this is not your place. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful well appointed place, you've found it at Polo Beach Club. But really the best of both worlds because it is right next door to the Fairmont Kealani and the walking path to all the other resorts. Stayed on 7th floor in 2/2. Great lanai for whale watching!

Second time staying here, almost like having your own private beach.

Very quiet, except for the sound of the waves on the beach below your balcony. Great restaurant choices close by and snorkeling up and down the beach. If you are looking for a rowdier environment, don't book here, but for families and couples it is great.

The Polo Beach Hotel rooms are set up to provide a patio with table and chairs that has a direct ocean view. Our room 207 included beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and body board. The beach is white sand bordered by lava on each side. The beach for the larger hotel hext door was easily accessed. Every room has a master bed and a second room with two twins. The kitchen has what was needed and a Safeway grocery store was just up the street. The hotel is at the very end of the road and so there is little traffic. But that means everything is futher away- Laihaina is about 45 minutes drive. this is a nice place and we will try to stay there when we go back.
