Good value for money, good location

The room is not fully equipped to the full detail, small things like cloth hanger, kitchen towel etc are sometimes missing. It's a self checkin stay. Host is quite chill. I know many hosts send you checkin details closer to checkin, but for this one it's really REALLY close.

Firstly, there were a number of cleanliness issues upon arrival. The condition of the bin was not acceptable, and there was a used cotton bud left on the windowsill, which was unpleasant to find. In addition, the apartment had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. As non-smokers, we found this particularly uncomfortable, and the smell was strong enough to cause coughing and discomfort when we first entered the property. There were also inconsistencies regarding the amenities listed. A card in the apartment stated that Wi-Fi was available, with details of the Wi-Fi box and password located next to the television. However, there was no functioning Wi-Fi in the property. In addition, although the listing indicated that an iron would be provided, none was initially present, and I had to request one from a cleaner on the morning of departure. I hope you will understand this feedback is offered constructively, as I believe addressing these issues would improve the accuracy of the listing and the overall guest experience.

The apartment itself was great. Nice and clean and well furnished.

First of all after booking the apartment we were advised that a bank deposit of £50 was required - which was waived as were international visitors. The location, for us, was very noisy-opposite The Three Herons pub. The building appeared to be almost all AirBnB with doors banging all night. If you want to be in the middle of everything it would be perfect. Covered parking was at an extra cost but well worth it given the street activity,
