"Absolutely perfect and private, for the one night stay that we needed"

The owner - Gary - gave us exceptional service. There was an issue with the Eskom power supply, but he had a back up plan of generators which was more than adequate.

Nothing - every thing was in order.

Friendly welcome from Gary and secure parking on site. Lovely views across the Umtamvuna river and the tropical vegetation was lush and contained a variety of birdlife. Large comfortable bedroom en suite with kitchenette and lounge area. Large rain shower with good pressure and strong hot water supply.

The main road was potholed and the service road rough and very bumpy. The local municipality are obviously struggling to do effective maintenance and even the water supply was not safe for drinking. The internet supply [throughout Port Edward] was intermittent at best!
