The Hideaway Hotel

We were lucky to book a last minute trip to LBI and found the Jolly Rodger. It has recently been renovated and the room was spotless. The staff at check in and check out were friendly. Great find and great location if you want to be away from the crowds!

Nice motel- updated rooms, clean, right across from beach access but make sure you get a room on the second floor. We were on the first and the noise of early risers was a lot.

The motel itself was very clean and simple. Parking was ideal because it was very close to our room entrance which made packing and unpacking the car easy. Beach passes and a parking pass was also helpful.

I asked for ice multiple times throughout the day. I was told no one ever got it or bought it so I wasn’t able to have ice in my water or my beverages I brought with me. The electricity also would randomly go on and off which was weird. But after a few minutes it was fine again. It happened both nights during our stay. The location is quiet and it is a very short walk to the beach. But it is about a 7-10 min drive to areas with more restaurants and stores. However, The short walk to the beach made it worth it.
