The Hideaway Hotel

The location is perfect, steps from the beach. The property is incredibly clean, comfortable and modern. Deli convenience store next to the hotel.

The bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Beach across the street. We will definitely go back!

Very friendly stuff, willing to help and provide extra information, super clean and modern..will go back perfect for a short vacation. Nice to have bicycles available to tour the island, easy access to the ocean and to the bay. Nice view of the surfers in the morning from the rooftop

The location was perfect!

I really liked staying at the very south end of LBI. Less crowded. I like that there is a shuttle that comes often if you don't want to drive & stops right across from the hotel alomost every 20 minutes. I loved the rooftop deck & its cushy lounge chairs & the view of ocean. I like that there is a convenience store right next door to hotel. Breakfast sandwiches, lunch cold drinks and other stuff. Public Bathrooms are right on beach side so you don't have to come back to your room. Bikes & beach chairs available for guests as well. Nice!

No pool. Wish price was more reasonable for the smaller rooms. The legs of our bed sort of stick out & my hubby kept tripping over them. (bedspread covers them so you can't see them. Small room. (only a few rooms have nice view. ) We had view of house behind the hotel. (At least I saw the guy there play guitar on his deck. lol) No elevator. You walk up to 2nd fl with luggage. You share upper deck with other guests. But it wasn't bad. Most people are very nice. Going in June was good since beach not crowded.

I spent every summer from childhood on the north end of LBI, so the Hideaway was a sweet intro to the southernmost end of the island. It is a little gem. It's just a stone's throw from the beach, and our room had an ocean view, with a lovely shared deck with stunning views. The room was painted clean white with high ceilings. It was decorated sparely (in a GOOD way) with natural materials and upscale Malin & Goetz products in the bath. It had the vibe of the Greek island homes in Mamma Mia! Would gladly stay again.
