Cedars Motel

The most important thing to me is cleanliness. It was very clean. The owner was very friendly and offered very useful information. The evening fire was nice as well.

There really wasn't anything I didnt like. I could hear the people next to us but that happens at pretty much every hotel/motel you stay at.

The room was cozy & cute & the large bathroom looked new. It was clean & well-kept. The chairs outside each room & the yard furniture around the fire pit made sitting outdoors very pleasant.

The relaxing recliners and the quiet surroundings were welcomed after a long drive. The owners were cheerful and friendly. It was well worth the price. We were offered free shuttle to the ferry parking lot to avoid parking fees.

The young new owners lovingly refurbished the old "mom and pop" motel with charm and comfort. It beats the sterile big name hotels in the area by a mile. They are very sweet and attentive, amd on call.

Everything was great.

Location was a little noisy, big trucks rumbling past.

Door lock should be more secure.

Breakfast was very poor. It was a very shy continental breakfast only cereal, coffee and tea, no juice of any kind, on day one it had some very small packaged type roll. Breakfast was to be from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The breakfast items are pulled before 9:30 even though breakfast is to be till 9:30. This should not be since they state breakfast to 9:30, not 9:25 or 9:20am. on the second day we arrived for breakfast before 9:30 am only to find the gallon milk jug for the cereal put away and the small oranges put away, I asked for an orange, Hanna looked at her watch and said it was before 9:30 and got me one she had put away and said ok to have one because it was before 9:30. Even though breakfast was to 9:30 she said if she thinks everyone has eaten she puts away the few breakfast items away even before 9:30. This should not be done before time. I then proceeded to take a plastic knife, fork, and spoon to finish some food in my room only to be told by Alex that the plastic silverware was for guests. Very rude by him, Wasn't I a guest? The two chairs in the room were apparently, maybe new, they were covered with a cloth, both of them , I guess so we the patrions wouldn't dirty the chairs, This was very unwelcoming.

breakfast, too small of soap bars, the covered chairs, the rudeness of Alex and Hanna about the breakfast time and curtailing the breakfast items before the stated ending time of breakfast.

I always go there. Wonderful place to stay!
