A Bed of Roses

This small BnB was a great choice. Breakfast was very good, and the day we left early they prepared a breakfast “to go”. Bed was comfortable and access to Yosemite made it a great place to stay. Great location with good views of the mountains.

When checking into our room was not ready. Bed was dirty garbage in the room shower towels were everywhere. The room was not ready for new guest to be checking in. Would never stay or book with them ever again.

Beautiful mountain home. Very peaceful with thought details. The deck was a welcome repite to sit quietly w/ my coffee & thoughts of Yosemite. We stayed in the larger corner bedroom w a wall of windows facing the mountain, which was a real treat. Room was very cozy and I was amazed at how incredibly quiet our stay was. Immaculately clean and very cozy. I had to leave at 3 am to drive my daughter into Yosemite for her pre-dawn Half Dome hike. The host was very kind to offer a bag lunch of yogurt, muffin, banana. However, her staff were not around to prepare it, and I couldn’t find the muffins. Kurig coffee & yogurt were enough to wake us though. Drove the 90 minutes back to not miss the acclaimed breakfast at 8, but I found the other guests leaving, as no one showed up to make any food or greet them. The number left by the phone was unsuccessful, so I texted the host. She was quick to answer, but only repeated and apology. No one ever came, no breakfast. The host was gracious enough to provide me a small discount due to the inconvenience, but had I known, I could’ve stayed in Yosemite and eaten there, enjoyed the park, saving myself a 3 hour round trip.

Other than not having any service for breakfast, the driveway was extremely difficult to navigate. We arrived late night and the other guests filled in from the bottom. I was forced to navigate my Nissan Rogue past them & into a very small space, on the edge of the steep and elevated driveway.
